Pearl Lu is a fashion design student from Queens, New York, with roots in a Beijing-based family of artists, writers, professors, and calligraphers.

 

A graduate from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School with a

fine arts focus, she later found her creative home at Parsons School of Design.

Alongside fashion, Pearl pursued photography - a pivotal path that led her into the vibrant world of prints.

 

Her Materiality Thesis Collection,  Don't Weep, Willow, 

fuses fine art and fashion into a deeply personal narrative, exploring maternal love, sacrifice, and identity through

tactile storytelling and bold, emotionally charged design.
